Content

This course is designed for PhD fellows who want to understand how the ICT development impacts the law. The purpose of the course is to provide the PhD fellows with insight into and the competences needed to address the consequences of the application of legal technologies within their respective field of law. The course will deal with the challenges that are faced when ensuring a design of legislation ready to digitalisation, the implications of digitalisation for contractual relations and for business models, as well as the digitisation in the employment sector, personal data protection, and the self-service facilities dominating the public administration. It involves both focus on the benefits as well as the new digital risk.
